Objective Advanced – 4th Edition (Revised for 2015 Exam)
You can order this coursebook here, or at Eurospeak reception.
Advanced class contains input on many of the same vocabulary and grammar areas. The difference with Advanced is that it is a general course, and thus able to take into consideration the needs of specific students more. Each lesson includes a mixture of practice of the four skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as practice of the four systems – vocabulary, grammar, phonology (sounds, stress patterns, intonation and pronunciation) and discourse features (structure of texts). There will be much discussion in class, picking up on the particular language questions you may have on any given day from work or self-study. Your language ability will become more sophisticated, robust and detailed, enabling you to use language skilfully and carefully in all of your everyday interactions.
