English Classes in ReadingOur English conversation classes are a great way to improve your Spoken English. The level of the class varies from Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate (even Advanced sometimes).

Discussions are held on a variety of topics such as sports, politics, business, and day-to-day English.

B1 English Test – Berkshire

You can now take your B1 English test in Reading, Berkshire at Eurospeak  Language School, located in the Reading Town Centre.

Who needs the B1 test?

From 28th October 2013, anyone applying for permanent settlement or British Citizenship must pass two exams unless someone is exempt. The two exams are as below:
– Life in the UK Test
– B1 Level ESOL Entry 3 exams in speaking and listening

How long will the B1 test take?

The B1 ESOL test will take about 2.5 hour. The test will consist of a speaking, listening, reading and writing component.

When can you take the test?

At our B1 exam centre in Reading, the test can be taken on all weekdays and even on weekends. The candidate needs to complete the booking at Eurospeak, at least 3 days prior to the test date.

How much does the test cost?

Here are the prices for the B1 test:

Standard: £150 (Results will take 2-3 weeks)
Emergency: £200 (Results will take 4-6 working days)

**An extra charge of £30 will be applied for test taken over the weekends.

Do you offer any discounts?

For bookings made after the 20th of March 2014, we will offer a £15 discount if you refer a friend to our centre for the B1 exam.

Summer School at Eurospeak UK

Eurospeak Summer SchoolThe weather is starting to perk up and Eurospeak is gearing up for summer in Britain. Our 2014 Summer school starts on the 16th of June and we have classes in General English, IELTS Preparation, Advanced, Upper Intermediate, Intermediate, Pre-Intermediate and Elementary Classes.

In addition, Eurospeak has an exciting list of activities and excursions lined up for our students this year. Our famous and well-loved barbeques will continue to take place every Friday afternoon, and we have bowling, boat trips and ball games.

On top of our regular activities, we are expanding our city and sight excursions to places such as Bournemouth, Cambridge, Bath as well as London, Oxford and Windsor Castle. For the more energetic students we have also planned paintballing and regular rock-climbing activities.

Weekend English Classes in Reading Berkshire

B1 exam dates in March

FCE Exam Preparation Classes in Reading Berkshire

Do you live in Reading and are you looking to prepare for the FCE examination? Do you want an expert teacher to help you pass the FCE exam. Then come and study at Eurospeak Language School based in the Reading Town Centre.

We run FCE classes every weekday (Monday to Friday) from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and afternoon classes from 13:30 to 16:45 on Wednesday and Thursday only. Our classes cost only £16 per class of 3 hours.  We also run 1 to 1 classes which start from £30 per hour.

We are also a University of Cambridge ESOL examination centre (Centre no. 51302) and you can take the FCE exam at our centre.

The next examination is on the 12th April 2014 and the examination fee is only £100. you need to book the exam by end of this week to be able to take the exam on time.

The FCE (Cambridge First Certificate English) is an Upper Intermediate level exam. The FCE preparation course which is designed to improve your General English ability as well as prepare you for the following Cambridge First Certificate specific skills which include:

FCE Reading: You will be taught to understand and recognise various types of texts such as reports, articles and extracts from novels. You will practise a variety of exam focused skills such as reading for gist, specific information, examining text structure and using context to deal with unknown vocabulary.

FCE Writing: You will be taught practical skills required to write letters, articles, reports and compositions. You will practise how to structure a cohesive and coherent piece of writing, use linking devices and appropriate language in a piece of writing.

FCE Use of English: You will develop and improve your knowledge and use of grammar and vocabulary. You will practise these skills by learning how to complete specific exam tasks.

FCE Listening: You will be taught how to listen and understand in a variety of different situations, such as formal lectures and presentations and informal discussions and conversations. You will practise listening for gist, listening for specific information and deducing meaning from context.

FCE Speaking: You will be taught how to give personal information and express and discuss your opinions. You will practise using grammar and vocabulary in oral communication, improve pronunciation and develop strategies for successful task achievement.

Eurospeak Language School based in the Reading Town Centre in Berkshire offers highly experienced and skilled IELTS trainers with an excellent track record of helping students achieve the required score.

B1 exam in Reading Berkshire

Eurospeak is running the B1 speaking, listening, reading and writing exam in the Reading Town Centre. The exam is run at Eurospeak Language School and is held about 2 times per week.  To apply for the exam, candidates need to email us on courses@eurospeak.org.uk or call us on 0118 958 9599.

The exam takes approximately 2.5 hours. The speaking part of the test takes about 10 to 15 minutes and the listening part takes 30 minutes.

The price for the test is £150 if you want result in 2 to 3 weeks and £200 if you want the result within 1 week.

The next exams will be held on Thursday, 13th March and Friday, 14th March. If you want to book, you need to confirm your booking at least 3 working days before the examination date.
