Erasmus Funded Projects


erasmuslogoEurospeak is involved with the delivery and coordination many different Erasmus projects. We have collaborated with European partners from Italy, Poland, Greece, Spain, Austria and France. We have taken part in many social mobility and vocational education training projects and continue to do so.

These projects are aimed at improving the educational training and mobility of specific target groups, such as marginalised groups, young adults, or disabled people. Activities can include the delivery of specific training, organisation of work placements, or intellectual outputs designed to improve a specific aspects of the project’s proposed outcomes.

These projects require commitment, lateral thinking and a high level of organisation and communication and allow international networking and the exchange of knowledge and ideas.

For KA1 Mobility Projects, we act as a receiving organisation. These vocational training projects involve cultural training and 4 weeks work placements for European students in the Reading, Berkshire, and Southampton, Hampshire. Please see a selection of our projects below.

Project Number: 2015-1-FR01-KA204-015334
Project Title: E-Cal Project
Dates: 01/10/2015 to 30/09/2018

The e-Cal project developed an e-course and accompanying handbooks, for second language learners to improve their personal study skills, and to enable them to “learn to learn”. It was aimed at giving people with less opportunity to learn, and those that did not fit into traditional educational environments, the opportunity to improve their language skills by making use of the thousands of open educational resources available online, on the internet today. The project lasted 3 years, and involved 6 partners: Eurospeak Language Schools Ltd. (UK), Petra Patrimonia Corsica (France), Danmar Computers (Poland), FoRiUm (Italy), E-Learning Concepts (Austria) and ASEV (Italy).

Project Title: Financial Literacy in Marginalised Communities (FLIMCO) Project
Dates: 01/10/2018 to 30/09/2020

The aim of the FLIMCO project is to provide identified marginalised communities with the knowledge and attitude, to be able to improve their financial literacy skills in their daily lives, within the context of their unique cultural norms.

The project will last 2 years, starting on the 1stOctober 2018 and finishing on the 30thSeptember 2020. There are 5 partners involved in the project: Eurospeak Language Schools Ltd (UK), CWEP (Poland), Essenia UETP (Italy), Accion Laboral (Spain) and SPES GmbH (Austria).

The project aims to build on the important and increasingly recognised topic of Financial Literacy, and provide the target

The outputs of the project will be:

  1. Handbook on the Relationship Between Financial Literacy and the Cultural Aspects of Marginalised Communities
  2. Framework for Financial Literacy Curriculum
  3. e-Course on Financial Literacy for Marginalised Communities

Project Title: Mr. Winston
Dates: 01/12/2018 to 30/11/2020

This project is aimed towards exploring and developing the idea of Virtual Reality in language learning. The project will create a chatbot, which will be used in conjunction with language learners’ traditional classroom and home-based study methods and materials. The project will last 2 years and involves 6 international partners: Eurospeak Language Schools Ltd (UK), Ljudska Univerza (Slovenia), Learnmera Oy (Finland), YuzuPulse (France), SCS LogoPsyCom (Belgium) and Civiform Società Cooperativa Sociale (Italy).

Project Title: Personalised Learning in Group Environments (PLGE) Project
Dates: 01/10/2018 to 30/09/2020

This project is aimed towards developing concepts relating to the idea of the  personalisation of language learning within a group context. The project will create an online resource library, an interactive ILP system for teachers and students as well as a handbook for teachers about differentiation within the classroom. The project will last 2 years and involves 5 international partners: Eurospeak Language Schools Ltd (UK), Danmar Computers (Poland), FyG Consultores (Spain), Quarter Mediation (Netherlands) and FoRiUm (Italy).
