The e-Cal project will explore and promote the role of the L2 (Second Language Acquisition) Learning Supporters using web based Open Educational Resources a key aspect for the facilitation of self-directed learning. With adults to support education, notably with at-risk adults, disadvantaged people, people with fewer opportunities who seek ways to improve upon the lives of adults who could not manage the traditional school curriculum.
The project goals will be achieved with help of 6 Intellectual Outputs:
- State of the art analysis of currently available OERs;
- A guide on supporting self-directed learning;
- An e-course addressed to L2 Learning Supporters;
- An e-course addressed to L2 learners;
- Guides to available web based English, French and Italian OERs;
- A website supporting L2 learning Supporters.
